Gairnshiel Bridge is a one-lane, single-arch, bridge on the A939 near Ballater in Scotland. It was built of rubble by Caulfield contractors in 1751 as a military bridge. In the background is Gairnshiel Lodge. This is a view of the last snows of early Spring in April 2013.
