Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface.   The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

Artist's Description

Returning from the site of the old Akaroa lighthouse at the harbour entrance, the road descends steeply from the rim of the ancient volcanic crater to the harbour and township on the Banks Peninsula south east of Christchurch, on the south island (Te Wai Pounamu) of New Zealand. Oil painting by Dai Wynn on canvas panel. 25.4 cm high by 20.3 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep (10 inches by 8 inches) approximately.

Dai Wynn

Some of my friends wonder why I have changed my name from David to Dai. The short answer is that I haven’t. My parents, sisters and immediate family always used Dai (but pronounced “day”) as a short form of David — a nickname if you like. However, it appears that the Welsh adopted the name "Dai” (pronounced “die”) as a short form of Dafydd (pronounced “Dahveth”) the patron saint of Wales and also known as St David just across Offa’s Dyke. Why Wales? Well the name “Wynn” means fair-skinned or white in the Welsh language and my ancestors were certainly from around those parts (others were from Ireland and Cornwall, but paid full fare to sail to Australia.
