Challenge your brain with a jigsaw puzzle designed by an independent artist!   Our puzzles are made from premium 0.2" thick paper stock and include a semi-gloss coating on the top surface to make the image pop.   Puzzles are available in two different sizes, and each puzzle includes a puzzle box with the artwork printed on the top for safe storage when you're not puzzling.   The puzzle pieces are unique shapes.

Artist's Description

Freehand pen and ink sketch by Dai Wynn of the Spreuer bridge in Lucerne, Switzerland. This ancient structure spans the River Reuss allowing pedestrians to cross the river under cover. A less famous covered bridge than the Kapellbrucke or Chapel Bridge further downstream towards Lake Luzern. Drawn on rough texture Arches 300gsm cotton paper. 29.7 cm high by 21 cm wide by 0.1 cm deep approximately. A4 standard size.

Some of my friends wonder why I have changed my name from David to Dai. The short answer is that I haven’t. My parents, sisters and immediate family always used Dai (but pronounced “day”) as a short form of David — a nickname if you like. However, it appears that the Welsh adopted the name "Dai” (pronounced “die”) as a short form of Dafydd (pronounced “Dahveth”) the patron saint of Wales and also known as St David just across Offa’s Dyke. Why Wales? Well the name “Wynn” means fair-skinned or white in the Welsh language and my ancestors were certainly from around those parts (others were from Ireland and Cornwall, but paid full fare to sail to Australia.
