Artist's Description

Half-timbered houses in a narrow alley of the old part of Bergerac. This medieval old town sits on the Dordogne River in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France. Pen and ink freehand sketch on 300gsm smooth Arches paper. 42cm high by 29.7 cm wide by 0.1 cm deep approximately. Dai Wynn photographed several narrow streets of Bergerac during an extended visit to this delightful region. Yes, there is a statue of Cyrano de Bergerac, with a prominent nose, not far away from here.
